Nikhil Shelke, MD

Dr. Nikhil Shelke, an orthopedic surgeon, specializes in surgically treating conditions affecting the spine. Dr. Shelke's practice has an emphasis on orthopedic spine surgery, including treatment of conditions affecting the cervical and lumbar spine, spinal stenosis, herniated discs, and other degenerative and traumatic spinal conditions.

Dr. Shelke completed fellowship training in neurosurgical spine surgery at Duke University Hospital. He is board-certified in orthopedic surgery by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. His approach combines a comprehensive evaluation with nonsurgical and surgical treatment options to help patients reduce pain, improve function, and return to daily activities.
